Denderah Temple
The Great Temple of Hathor at Denderah is one of the best preserved of all the temples in Egypt; built during the Ptolomeic era, 332 BCE to 30BCE, and is devoted mainly to Hathor.In front are six dramatic columns with capitals in the shape of the goddess, Hathor. Reliefs on the walls show the empress Cleopatra.
This Graeco-Roman Temple is famous for its astronomical ceiling, painted with symbols of the heavenly bodies.
A Zodiac based calendar, uses star positions, still valid today, seem to repeat about every 98,000 years
